Group beginners throwing session

I had a fantastic throwing session with Scarlett at Flint and Gaia! Myself and several others attended a beginners group throwing session, nobody had ever thrown on the wheel before and it was so much fun!! Scarlett is a kind and patient teacher, who guides you through each step of throwing- and we all managed to throw our own pots! Her space is beautiful and calm, I will definitely be back with more friends to have a go at throwing again. Thank you Scarlett!

Amazing throwing experience with Scarlett!

Had my first ever pottery throwing session yesterday with Scarlett and while I was very nervous, Scarlett was very quick to put my nerves at ease and make the session really enjoyable! I was able to make my first ever bowl which I was super happy with and Scarlett's instructions were very easy to understand and her expert knowledge is amazing! Would highly recommend this to friends and families. If you're looking for somewhere to start with pottery that is relaxed but also informative then Scarlett is definitely the place to go!

I had such a fun time trying pottery throwing for the first time with friends at Flint & Gaia. Scarlett was awesome, she’s a great teacher and made the whole experience welcoming & enjoyable for us. None of us had tried it before, and yet we all managed to create something - I made a little plant pot which I’m super happy with. If you’re looking for a fun group pottery throwing session, I highly recommend Flint & Gaia!

Hi guys! I'm Scarlett. The face behind Flint and Gaia.

I started Flint and Gaia to bring you handmade pottery as well as pottery throwing lessons and workshops focusing on mindfulness.

 

I want to spread the wellness properties of clay work to everyone. Clay has played a huge part in my mental health journey over the years and I truly believe in its grounding and calming properties.
