How do I get to the studio?Flint and Gaia is located within Banks Mill Studios. When you arrive at Banks Mill, you will use the intercom system to let us know you have arrived. Your tutor will then meet you at reception and take you to the studio.

Where can I park? There is ample pay and display on street parking outside the studio (maximum £2.50) There is also an NCP carpark a short walk away.

I have mobility issues, is the studio accessible to me?Unfortunately, due to the studio being located on the second floor we are currently not wheelchair accessible. In the future we are hoping to get a first floor studio to be able to cater those with accessibility needs. This also means those who struggle with stairs will struggle to get to the studio as there is no lift access.

How and when do I get the creations I made during my workshop? If you have a session with us on the wheel or attend a workshop, your pieces will need to be processed. Processing time is 3-4 weeks at the moment, if this changes for any reason you will be contacted. Once your pieces are ready, you will have the option to collect your pieces or have them posted. To collect, contact us to arrange a time and date. If you'd prefer to have your pieces posted, we can do so. Postage costs depends on the size and weight of your items and you will be given a personal quote for your items.

I've never done something like this before, is this suitable for me?We have events available for all abilities. Unless stated as an advanced lesson or workshop, you do not need any experience or crafting ability to be able to join. Sessions are fully guided and you will be instructed by a professional potter to help your creativity blossom! We love to help people try new things.
-
Can I bring people with me?We have limited space in the studio so only those with valid tickets will be permitted into the studio. If you've booked a single ticket, don't be afraid to attend alone! A lot of people come to the sessions alone and make friends with mutual interests! It's a great way to make friends. If you don't wish to attend alone and would like to bring somebody with you, they will be required to have their own ticket.

Are you pet friendly? It kills me to write this but unfortunately not! Banks Mill Studio has a no pets policy. (As an animal lovely I'm more mad about this than any of you, trust me!) That being said, if you have a service animal, these are welcomed.
